In Photoshop, I'll add shadows, punch up colors, add details like stripes on clothing
and add an 'inner glow' layer style set to multiply, grey, around 50%.
Then, I have a photoshop action that does the following: Hide the background,
select the layer with the 'trim size' rectangle I made in Illustrator, make a selection from the layer,
flattens the image, crops the image to the selection, and saves it as a
'Genuine Fractals' format (a PS plugin which costs around $100 US)
in a separate folder. All at the touch of a button.
